Dew point monitor switching contact

The dew point monitor switching contact is mounted directly on cold surfaces such as cooling or cold water pipes and reliably detects impending condensation based on temperature, humidity, and dew point measurements—without the use of conductivity sensors. The switching point can be set between 75 and 100% RH using a potentiometer (factory setting: 75% RH), with integrated LEDs indicating the current switching status. This ensures that the output is activated in good time to control heating systems or other actuators and prevent condensation. This makes it ideal for use in building automation, cooling ceilings, ventilation systems, technical control rooms, and wherever moisture-sensitive components need to be protected.

Dew point monitor - Important assembly instructions
The dew point monitor is mounted directly onto bare metal pipes or smooth, grease-free surfaces such as cooling ceilings using a quick-release strap. To ensure reliable measurement of the dew point temperature, make sure there is good thermal contact with the surface and that the air flow to the sensor is unobstructed.
