Immersion thermocouples with heads are used in process measurement technology. For temperature measurement, they can be inserted in contact with the medium or indirectly coupled to the process using immersion sleeves. There they measure the temperature in gaseous or liquid media. Temperatures of up to +800 °C can be recorded in pipes, vessels or systems.
